Answers To My Question
Hello Everyone:
Today I am feeling hopeful. After weeks of wondering what happened to that money I was supposed to receive from mum's bank, I finally got my answer. The BIL suggested that I give the Big Bank a call to find out why it was taking so long. I initially resisted because every time I contacted them, I ended up feeling aggrevated. I sent them a couple of emails, which they didn't answer (naturally) so I finally took a deep breathe and called them. I figured I'd get one of three answers: the money's on the way, we need more information, or no way in heck you're getting your money. The answer was (A), the money's on the way. Thank goodness. It took a little while to process but I should have a check by next week. The next step is negoiating with the BIL about my transitioning to taking over all the bills. It's something I need to do but I have to see if it's feasible right now or is there an alternative. I have to look at my resources and come up with a plan. The main thing is a heavy weight is beginning to lift off my shoulders. Now then, the next step is securing a reliable, steady source of income. On that end, I applied for a contact tracer job today that would pay me enough to comfortably cover all my living expenses and them some. I still want to pursue another opening with the local school district because that has higher career potential. I think the contact tracer job could also be a career potential-type thing. I'm just not sure yet. Alright, everything in good time. As I was blogging today, I thought of one or two more things but they're mostly volunteer jobs which could lead to something more stable but I really don't have that luxury right now. As for the Department of City Planning? Still waiting on their response but,you know what someone said about not counting chicken before they hatch? In other words, I can't bank everything on getting the job I genuinely want. I can only do the work to make it happen. For now,all I can do is make dinner.
