Good Things

Hello Everyone: It has been quite an exciting few days. The big thing is we have a new president and I couldn't be more thrilled. Even better, we have our first woman vice president and I'm jumping for joy. I had fun gloating over lunch with my Trump-loving sister and BIL yesterday. Now the hard part begins, putting the country back together. I feel optimistic that the incoming administration is up to the task. It won't be easy or quick but the incoming administration will lay down a solid foundation. In other news, I got my first birthday card today from my aunt in New York. New York Aunt usually encloses a check with it, she does that with all the nieces and nephews. This year she was surprisingly generous. Of course I already thanked her and plan to use it for groceries and other small expenses. It was extremely nice of her. One thing I am looking forward to doing once I finally get mum's money is paying back the loc grocery store and sis. That'll be very nice. I hope this is a sign of good things to come.
