Preparing For Online Interview

Hello Everyone: Another very quiet day. It's funny, since mum's passing I've really embraced the quiet. It's like I have less clutter to deal with, unlike the clutter left by Sis and BIL in mum's room. It's like no matter how many times I remind them about it, I keep getting excuses about why they haven't taken it away. Yes, I can take of that myself but they already made donation plans for the bags of clothes and stuff scattered around the room. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner they take it, the better. I need to clean the room and start fixing it up for myself. In other news, election madness continues to drag on. Technically, the races are over and all that's left is the final tally but no. The president is throwing a tantrum about ballot fraud because he lost. Four years ago he threw a ballot fraud tantrum over an election he won. Don't even try to figure it out. I can't believe that so many Americans willfully blinded themselves to this man-child and voted for him. I get why his message about the strong man coming to save the day and restore national pride made sense to a lot of people. In all honesty, had it not been the for COVID-19, he would've been getting ready for a second term. Unfortunately the universe had other ideas. Once again he's throwing a tantrum really over something that has no basis in fact. At this point, it's best to treat this 74-year-old man (yes) like a seven-year-old child throwing a tantrum over whatever children throw tantrums over. Humour him, don't try to reason, let him get it out of system, just be close by in case he tries to do anything rash. I think eventually reality will set in, I hope. Anyway, I had another good appointment with the job coach. She helped me prepare for my online interview on Friday. I took some notes about presentation. The key point is use a narrative arc to answer the questions. I can do that. I like the online format because I don't have those extra layers of anxiety--getting there early and sitting in the reception area waiting for my turn--heaped on to an already nerve wracking experience. The best part is once I'm done, I can change, wash off the make up, and go about my day. No blocking out an entire day just for something that takes about 45 minutes or so. I told the job coach that I would be very shocked if interviewers brought up salary and benefits at the first round. She gave me suggestions about what questions to ask in case there's time at the end. It should be all good.
