Bordom

Hello Everyone: I hate not having a lot do anymore. I didn't think I'd get so bored but here I am. Part of my bordom has to do with the semi-lockdown and the other part of it is the result of not having mum around. Even on the slow days, there was always something to break up the monotony. Now I have to find things to do. For example, I thought about getting an early start on my weekly errands but decided to stay home. The good part was I posted something but the bad part was I finished early. If it was still light outside and not as cold, I'd nip out for minute. There's always tomorrow. Speaking of which, I have to make sure I go to the grocery store early enough to avoid the pre-Thanksgiving Day rush. The grocery store is closing early and won't be open on Thursday so my guess is that it'll be busy in the afternoon. Waiting in line to get inside is not on my list to do, ever. One thing is for sure, I'm really looking forward to working again if only to have something to do during the day. The evenings aren't so bad because I don't stay up late watching television or anything like that. It's the daytime, especially the afternoons, that I need more to do. Blogging and housework are definitely things that fill up my time but I need a little more so that those items become something I look forward to. Anyway, now I'm procrastinating, not a good thing. Good thing I have grocery shopping to do because otherwise I'd be looking at day three of bordom. Monday wasn't so bad because I remembered I had to finish another job application. Today, other than blogging, nothing else. Maybe I'll take the day off from blogging and go to the mall just to walk around.
