Post-Restriction Life
Hello Everyone:
Today, for the first in about a couple of months, it felt like an easing of restrictions. The restrictions actually haven't been lifted yet, not officially but that heaviness that came with them seems to be going away. One indication is the line to get into the local nice grocery store dwindled. It hasn't taken me forever to wait in line to do a quick errand. Another indication, there's toilet paper and more grocery items on the shelves. Meat, poultry, and any kind of flour are another matter. Oh well, we do what we can in trying times. I guess it might be time to slowly return to something that resembles normal. I mean my life goes on but it'll go on in a more cautious manner. Wear a face mask and carry hand sanitizer. I hope that one day I can stand less than six feet away from a person and sit in the nearest coffee place, not get take out. One thing I absolutely am looking forward to is going to the salon. I'm not that brave to try to cut my bangs myself or let someone else cut my hair with a YouTube tutorial. I can manage to do my own color but not a cut. Mostly, I looking forward to getting out of the house all day. Mum and her caregivers are driving me up a tree. Also, the BIL is recovering nicely and if all goes according to plan, he'll be home soon. I'm pretty sure my sister is really looking forward to it. She's been a de facto single mom for about two months. My niece, her boy husband, and oldest nephew are helping out but I really think they want the BIL back home. Honestly, I wish I could have an ounce of compassion for my sister's predictment but I can't given that so many single mom, who don't have family members to help them out, do what they do every day virus or no virus. So yes, I am looking forward to post-restriction life.
