Through To The Next Round

Hello Everyone:

It’s Sunday evening and time to blog. I got some good news on Thursday. I did well on my interview last Sunday and I’m through to the next round. Yay me. The next round is the in-the-office interview I wonder if I can find a business appropriate haz mat suit?  The office is in City Hall and they’ve had a rat problem. I emailed my contact person at the City Hiring Program who was happy for me. I think I might talk to them about interview skills once I get a date. I want to go full press and seal the deal. The Brit BF and I had a nice video chat on Friday.  I had to put up with his soccer match viewing but I can deal with that. Otherwise it was a pretty quiet weekend. The youngest nephew stopped by for a few minutes. He was on the way to a bar mitzva luncheon and came by for a  breather. As usual, he made himself comfortable on the sofa and was ready to stay for lunch but had to go. He’s generally a good guest but if he’d stayed, he’s parents would’ve gotten mad.  No worries. Anyway, the coming week should be a lot fun. I’m going to a Fourth of July show that I can’t wait to see. Time to get ready for bed.
