Done And Dusted
Hello Everyone:
I am in chill mode after the day I had. Today was my interview for the city job, I know, who schedules interviews on Sundays, right? This meant I had to get up with the alarm, be dressed, and out of the out house by a certain time. When I got up to shut off the alarm, I checked to see if there was an email saying the interview was rescheduled to a week day. No such thing. The actual interview itself was pretty painless. It was just me and a couple of planner in a room. They threw at me all types of scenarios to gauge what I kind of a thinker I am. I goal was to give them the impression that I’m analytical and process oriented. The final thoughts question allowed me to articulate my vision for Los Angeles. I felt pretty good the whole time. No nerves whatsoever. We’ll see what happens next. I really have to give mum a big shout for arranging the ride and coming with me. That was huge. She didn’t have to do any of it but I really do appreciate her support of this cause. I promised to go with her to a series of appointments, all in the same place, on Tuesday. The only minor hiccup at the interview was three police officers showed up while I wait d for my turn. They were responding to an alarm, which turned out to be nothing. At least it wasn’t the paramedics and no rats. The downside was I was the last to be called to I had to wait what seemed like forever. I just wanted to get going. Right now I’m ready to sleep and start the week fresh.
