Rodent Creatures

Hello Everyone:

Today was pretty chill.  I actually managed to get out of bed early enough to go running before breakfast.  I was feeling up to after a week of feeling exhausted.  Even mum was pretty chill.  I just posted the latest and greatest on the blog.  It's on the pressing rat problem in Los Angeles.  Some people say that rats are clean well behaved pets and others say they're disease carrying vermin.  I tend to be part of the group that thinks rats are just disease carriers.  The niece had a school friend who kept rats as pets.  Okay, this girl is wee eccentric and her parents were totally cool with it.  I'm not a rodents as pets person.  My youngest nephew has a guinea pig (a member of the rodent species).  The animal is cute but smelly.  I think the guinea pig is his emotional security animal because he plays with it when he comes home from school.  I know it's been a while since middle school but I don't remember needing an ESA to get through it.  On second thought, maybe an ESA would've made school less stressful.  Anyway, the last semi-encounter I had with a rat was at the park.  I saw one, the size of a kitten, prowling around the dumpster.  Sorry to gross you out.  Actually, I'm that grossed out the post because it's just a post.  I don't have to go prowling in dumpsters or sewers on rat patrol.  I'm also not that grossed out enough that I want to skip dinner.  Time to eat
