Appointments And Allergies

Hello Everyone:

My Tuesday was okay. I accompanied mum to her appointments, which were all in one place. Great. I even had a few minutes to sit down to a civilized lunch. Once I got her settled in the waiting room I went to the clinic cafeteria, heated up some soup I brought with me and just chilled for a few minutes.  That was nice. What was not so great was the park this morning I love the maintenance staff for all the hard work they do but they cut the grass and turn on the sprinklers first thing in the morning, when I’m there. I can avoid the sprinklers but not the grass. All the pollen and everything else goes into the air and sets off my allergies. I come practically gasping for air and feeling miserable. Right now I’m better. Medication is a good thing. Anyway, after the appointments, I came home and just chilled for the rested of the afternoon. I ended up reading this really fascinating article from about five years ago that I downloaded while waiting for mum. The subject was slavery reparations and the author made a good case for reconciling America’s past with its present and future. I want to go back and read again. Tomorrow it’s back to the usual blogosphere.
