Stress Reduction
Hello Everyone:
I’ve been feeling like poo all weekend. The migraine I had Thursday migrated to my stomach and lasted the whole weekend. I definitely think it’s all stress-related. A vacation is all well and fine but that doesn’t make the anxiety-inducing facts of my life go away. What I really need are more outlets to release all the stress. Writing, running, and some yoga are all good but I want to hit something. There’s an expensive boxing and a Muay gym near house. I wouldn’t mind it except for the cost. I also need to watch what I more carefully and more rest. I’ve been very negligent with both lately and I’m feeling it. Once a week I like to do a digital detox—no devices for 25 hours. Usually I can make it but early yesterday evening I got so bored that I turned on my phone. Not that I really missed anything. One idea that’s crossed my mind is going outside in the late afternoons for a walk. I could use the fresh air and exercise. After all, I can only read so many books and magazines. I kind of love me that idea and I live in a nice enough neighborhood that it makes the stroll very enjoyable. I can do that I also need to get some sleep.
