Centered

Hello Everyone:

Today was one of those days where everything went haywire.  I overslept the alarm. I had it all in mind to get up, meditate and go running before breakfast.  That didn't happen.  Instead I woke up a half hour later than I planned and from there things just kept getting pushed backed further and further.  I finally had time to write in the middle of the afternoon.  At least I got a good start on a post.  Another good thing was my trip to the dollar store was quick and painless.  Even better, I found everything on my list.  Wow, that happens, like never.  Usually, they don't have a few of the things on my list.  Anyway, at least that errand got done and dusted.  Tomorrow's grocery run is far more pleasurable and I plan to get up earlier.  I find that when I do meditate and run before breakfast, the rest of the day goes better.  Even if things get crazy, my mood is a little calmer because I've had some quiet time at the beginning of the day.  That quiet time gives me a chance to organize my thoughts so I can deal with whatever's in front of me.  When I don't have that time or it gets cut short, I find that I'm not as centered as care to be.  Anyway, it's dinner time.
