Making Progress

Hello Everyone:

I spoke a wee bit too soon. The Sometime BF and I came home from a lovely evening out to find that mum received her new phone battery. Yay. She installed and tried to charge it up but it wasn't doing that. A phone call to the mobile phone company later, they're sending a new phone. So we're right back to mum using my phone for, at least, another week. Oh joy. She won't get an iPhone because there isn't room in the budget. I need to upgrade my phone but am hesitant about a re-furnished or certified pre-owned phone. I really need to work on the Sometime BF. Speaking of which, I noticed over dinner that he seemed attuned to certain details like how I like lemon in my water and a cup of tea after dinner. I definitely appreciate it when my partner notices these and other details like that. It's a good sign. I do the same thing-pay attention to the details. That's important for a relationship. He also finally got around to asking about leavingnanfew things here for his overnights. I said yes, it's about time he asked about that. Slowly we're making progress. It's strange, I don't remember making this kind of progress with the Brit BF. Maybe if the relationship had more a real chance, we might even be married by now. I guess the universe wanted me and the Sometime BF to be together. Let's what happens in the long term.
