Sunday Ramblings December 21

Hello Everyone:

Happy first day of Winter.  A really nice Sunday.  It stopped raining, for now, no rain in the forecast for the immediate future.  Good, this means I can go out running without coming home soak to the skin.  Finally, all the long distance communications issues with the Brit BF are getting sorted out.  I downloaded Skype onto my iPad so I can talk to him anywhere.  I already have it on my laptop.  This just makes me more mobile.  The next thing is to trade my phone for an iPhone and load Skype and other things on it.  The next thing is a passport.  Now where did I put that birth certificate?  Chanukah is going pretty good. I indulged in a chocolate filled doughnut last night and it was really good.  Mom was complaining that a half dozen of the delicious pastries was expensive but, guess what mom, it was so worth it.  I need more chocolate.  Maybe I'll splurge on a Cadbury bar or a big bage of chocolate coins from Trader Joe's.  Not right now.  Anyway, I have another interesting job prospect I need to get to, an architectural historian position with the National Parks(?).  Fortunately I don't have to play "Ranger Bob."  The only camping I do is room service.  I like a good hike as long as I can go home to a nice bath at the end of the day.  Anyway, more Chanukah candle lighting tonight.
