Happy to report that everything is a go for tomorrow. The BIL is kind enough to give me a ride in the morning so I don't get there late or at the last second, flustered, and unable to put together a single coherent thought. I even went as far as to download the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Ordinance onto my Kindle app and I plan to review the basics of it. My strategy for the essay portion is simple, get right to the point, save the prose for another time. It's the same strategy I used in school for all those essay exams. It got the job well done. Of course, I plan to use a little psychological warfare on the competition. I want this job and I'm not afraid to psych out the competition. My goal for tomorrow is to score well enough to place high on the eligibile for hire list. I've allowed myself to entertain the fantasy of being offered a job right on the spot. Not only would I be offered a job in the spot but also it would include a flexible schedule and benefits. It's only a fantasy. The reality is I'll probably have to wait a while before someone gets around to me. One other thing I can do to enhance my chances, show and tell. Show and tell my blog and preservation related pin boards. Why just talk about what you do when can show it off. Have iPad, will travel. Yeah baby bring it.
