Off to a bit of a late start today but kind of back on track. So far the weekend has been pretty quiet. The Brit BF messaged me that he tweeted the The Pope. Seriously. He figured that since The Pope was a soccer fan, what the heck; so he sent him a trailer for his soccer girl project. Who knows, the Brit BF might get a papal blessing tweeted back and the BF isn't Catholic. Me, I'm getting stuff together for my interview on Tuesday. I just remember I have to put an updated resume on my flash drive. Ugh too many things to remember. This is why I like to keep extraneous things like hair, make up, and wardrobe fuss free. I'd rather through my brain at more substantive things. I emailed the BIL to see if he could give me a lift Tuesday morning. I don't mind getting there early and cooling my heels. Better that then getting there at the last second, all flustered, and unable to put a single coherent thought together. My plan afterwards is to treat myself to lunch at the Grand Central Market Place, blog awhile, the go home. It's all very exciting. I was thinking this morning that, perhaps, this is the universe's way of making up for that whole disaster with the City of Santa Ana over the summer. Ireally want this job with the City of Los Angeles Department of Planning. It's a really sweet gig. My goal for Tuesday is to score high enough on the written and oral portions of the exam so that I place high enough on the eligibile for hire list. I'm in Survivor mode: "out wit, out play, out last" the competition.
