Summer Plans

Hello Everyone:
Hello to my readers in Mexico, Philippines, and Poland.  Thanks for clicking on my blog.  I look forward to seeing more of you.  Enjoy the reads.

Another sunny Wednesday in progress.  Wednesday at my house usually mean grocery shopping and lately it's been a pretty routine affair, as it should be.  The monkeys (a.k.a. the niece and nephews) are about to begin summer break.  This usually brings the return of turbo nephew, little nephew.  This monkey goes to a nearby day camp so the routine is he gets dropped off at my house in the morning and mom (attempts) to feed him, dress him, and takes him to camp.  Emphasis on attempt.  This child is so full of energy in the morning that it's led me to believe that he downs espresso shots before coming over in his pajamas.  This abundance of exuberance is too much to take first thing in the morning when I still trying to wake up, even after the morning run. I jokingly have told the teenage nephew not to give him caffeinated espresso in the morning but to no avail.  Speaking of teenage nephew, the newly graduated middle schooler-turned high schooler- has got himself a job this summer.  Good for him.  I like this kid.  He started working Tuesday at a local Judaica bookshop.  The niece is off to camp in the Catskills again.  Good for her.  I like the fact that she wants to spend time away from mom and dad every year and hang out with girls her own age from the East Coast.  I really don't see her doing the part time job thing during the summer, unless it's related to day camp counseling or something like that.  Me, my summer plans are talking to you, of course, and looking for work.  I recently got inundated with some prospects and I need to spend time going through them.  Hopefully, something'll will pan out.
