A Perfect Day

Good Day All: Once again the week is off to a good start. I have this new phone that I love and I'm listening to some great jazz music. Not a bad way to start. I've applied to some career jobs last week that looked promising. The only thing is that they're out of California. As I've mentioned previously, it's not about playing geographic, it's about needing to work so I feel more confident about myself. I draw my energy and confidence from being able to stand on my own two feet. Some people draw their confidence from their personal lives, other from their work. I'm the latter. That confidence spills over into my personal life as well. When I take care of myself, I feel better around other people. There's a certain wholeness I get. I'm sure this makes sense but it's a feeling and I guess feelings don't make sense or at least they're not supposed to. Let's just say, I feel like I'm on equal footing with other people when I work. I have something to say. Right now my work is focused on maintain this blog and another one I keep as more of a journal. Yes, you can call it work and it does give me a sense of fulfillment but it doesn't pay, yet. Sometimes, it is about the money. Hey a girl's got to have her stilleto shoes and cashmere. Huzzah, I figured out how to set up my email on phone. Sorry for the momentary digression. So yeah, I'm having a really good day today. Cue up Lou Reed's "Perfect Day."
