Hello Ukraine and welcome. I have a friend from Architecture school who's from Kiev. She's doing her master's at USC Architecture. So today has been moving along bit more smoothly than the last couple of days. I guess taking "the cure" helped. I did have a bit of Passover related fit before because the smell of a potato dish made me nauseous, metaphorically speaking. Anyway, I got some chores done around the apartment so that's always good. I still have plenty of things to do like iron some table cloths and clean the kitchen. I'm confident they'll get done. I don't get to anxious about it. Remember what I said in previous posts, I just go about my tasks calmly and quietly. I was at this coffee place before when a mentally ill homeless woman came in screaming at a male customer. Sad, this poor woman obviously needs help but social services and the county department of health services won't do anything about it. Fortunately, the baristas are compassionate. You can only look upon a person like that with empathy and hope that one day they'll be able to get the help they desperately need. Right now, I'm writing this blog in a multi-purpose room. As I write, there is tutorial session going on, people on the computer, and a couple looking at photographs with an elderly woman. There's this one woman who's also in the room with me who's putting together a stack of legal papers. I've seen her off and on. She's involved in some sort action, I know this because I looked on her work one time. Otherwise, I in a world by myself. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday and the start of the weekend. I can spend hours reading. Currently, I'm finishing Anna Karanina and I just started Les Misarables. Neither one are short reads, the former is about 700-800 pages and the later is about 1500. Bricks both of them. I figured that it would probably be better to read them than spend the time watching a dramatic romantic novel or a bloated musical. I'm interested to find out what you're reading or thinking: http://www.facebook.com/lenorelowen or http://www.twitter.com/glamavon. Talk to you soon.
