Deal Maker

Hello Everyone: I applied to the two job opportunities that I came across over the weekend. It only took a few minutes and I felt good about it. In the meantime, the department store hasn't gotten back to me. I'm sure they will one way or another. The museum job I applied to sounds intriguing because of the subject matter, The Cold War. The Cold War was an extremely impactful event in world history that has reprecussions for today. The job is part time and a bit of a haul for me but it is something I would most definitely make the commute. We'll see what happens. Anyway, the day was pretty quiet. I managed to complete a post on the president's social welfare bill. It offers a promising handful of initatives. The Brit BF and I were messaging each other yesterday and he told me he finally connected with a friend who could give him some pitch tips. Right now he's at the stage where he's preparing the pitch that could get him the development deal he's wanted for so long. The friend gave him a couple of pointers and told him that his relationship with the studio executive that could make the decision means that his project has a good chance of being bought. The friend is right about that. The Brit BF has managed to cultivate a good relationship with the studio executive and her husband, bonding over English Premier League soccer. Okay, if that works, then keep watching soccer. I really hope he gets his development deal so he can come back for longer than two weeks. I really had a fabulous time with him.
