Busy Day

Hello Everyone: It was a very productive day. I finished off a couple more applications for tutoring jobs and came across another opportunity through city government. Originally, this opportunity was for part time after school staff but I seemed too over qualified for the job. A further search yielded three different fellowships that I seemed more qualified for. I also followed up with the food and rent assistance programs. It's amazing what happens when you do the work and place your faith in the universe. It's like suddenly opportunities are falling into my lap. There were a couple more that I applied to but I'm not holding my breathe on either one. Nor am I just going to sit back and wait for the Brit BF to sign his production contract with anyone. The chances of that happening are high and the competition is extremely stiff but his got a great proposal and established a good relationship with a top studio executive so it's possible. Regardless, I have to take care of myself. It's not that I don't have confidence in the Brit BF, I do, it's just that I can't pin my star on to his success. Anyway, tomorrow I have another productive day plan with finishing off a couple more applications. My stated goal is to give myself some sort of steady income while I take the community college certificate program. Once I finish with the classes and I can settle into the required internship, preferably one with a stipend and go from there. The ultimate goal is by this time next year to call myself professor and teach my own class. The ultimate goal is a full time tenure track position but, first, more incremental goals.
