A Good Work From Home Opportunity
Hello Everyone:
A good work from home opportunity kind of fell into my lap today. It's a call center job with the state unemployment agency following up with claims. The hours and pay are there so I applied. The job doesn't start until mid-January but who knows what else'll come up. I have to chalk this one up to the universe wanting me to see that post and apply for it. Something about divine timing and all that. The job description looks like something I can easily handle. Let's hope I get an interview. It's in service to my long range of teaching at community college because it would give me the necessary income to pay the bills and have something leftover for lipstick, nice shoes, and a trip to the salon. In the meantime, life goes on. I did my grocery shopping today, like normal because if I'd waited until tomorrow or Friday, it would be a nightmare. Christmas is this weekend and everyone is doing their last minute shopping. I prefer to avoid the crowds at the grocery stores. Utter mayham. In general I try to avoid stores between Thanksgiving week and just after the new year because they're too crowded and I hate the non-stop holiday music. If I have to go shopping, I do it as quickly as possible. I used to avoid the kosher markets before the major Jewish holidays. In addition to the crowds, there was never any parking space. Since mum died I don't go to the kosher markets because they're little more expensive, especially know with all the inflation and supply chain issues. I do have to really plan my spending. Anyway, it's dinner time.
