Hello Everyone:
A fairly productive start to the week. I re-applied for the planning assistant job. There's no indication as to when the City Department of Planning will begin the hiring process but at least I can get myself established on the list of candidates. Also, the weather was less tropical. I still have the fan on but it's not so unbearable. Another productive thing I did was make some more tweaks to my resume. The BIL is still in the hospital recovering and the prognosis is good but he'll need time to recover. Here's a strange thing, the brain bleed was caused by blood thinners he started taking when he got sick. The virus causes blood clots. Apparently, he doesn't have any of the risk factors for blood clots but I sort of beg to differ. It wouldn't be that surprising if he developed clots because of his weight and sedentary lifestyle. Maybe the COVID and brain surgery will shock him into taking better care of himself. None of this makes any sense, which makes perfect sense for this year. Up is down; down is up; left is right; right is left; front is back; back is front and everything is diagonal. Perfect. Is it 2021 yet?
