Do Not Mind The Goodies

Hello Everyone:

A quiet start to the week.  I'm looking forward to speaking with a job coach I connected with on Wednesday.  My hope is that he or she can help focus my job search a little better and perhaps connect me with a skills training program related to my background.  Since we are living in the age of pandemic, I suppose I have to do it online.  Fine, now that I don't have mum duty I can devote more time to it.  We'll see what happens.  Normally I prefer doing any kind of class in-person.  This way I know I have to be at a certain place, at a certain time.  This is not normally, more like abnormally.  One thing I do have to do this week is finally set up a bank account.  This way, I can have access to a trust fund mum left me that would enable me to pay some bills and expand my grocery list.  Right now, everything is current and I'd like to keep that way, especially the rent.  This will be a determinant in whether I can move into an upgraded unit at a reduced price.  I think after all this time as good tenant, I deserve to live in a place with an in-unit washer/drier, central heat and air.  Even better if I can get for less than the going rate.  Of course, PLB management could decide to reward existing tenants with reduced rent.  That would be nice too but I really want the goodies.  Speaking of goodies, I was chatting with the Brit BF who told me he pitched to the founder of one of the leading social media apps.  This founder is co-owner of a start up women' professional sports and if they agree to a licensing contract, I could reap some of the benefits.  I don't think that the Brit BF will leave out in the cold but I'm not expecting who knows what.  I told him I'm holding out for a romantic birthday getaway (in case all the travel bans on Americans is lifted before my birthday) and a nice place near the beach.  Hey a person can dream
