Another weekend has almost come to close. So happy the weather cooled down enough to make it very tolerable. Yesterday I resumed my weekly lunch at sis’s house. The BIL was home resting up after emergency brain surgeryto stop at bleed, caused by some medication. Honestly, the big stapled up incision across his forehead makes him look like Frankenstein’s monster. The scar’ll give him some edge. Apparently when he was being readied for surgery, whoever’s job it was to shave off the hair on his head where the bleed was, got carried away and took his beard. It was really weird seeing with just the scruff but it looks good on him. I never realized what a fat face and bulbous head he has. Anyway, sis came by briefly today to pick up some of mum’s mail. I finally got a chance to ask her about that account that mum set aside for me. Well, once again my over active imagination was wrong. The balance more than covers a nice evening out by a thousand-fold. The delay in releasing it was the wait for the death certificate. Now the question is how to disburse it. For that I to talk to the lawyer I spoke with on Friday. This was someone I was referred to by the community agency I’m working with. A nice gentleman who can help me navigate the social welfare system without losing my mind. He should get back to me sometime tomorrow and then I’ll forward the information to the BIL. Slowly but surely, things are getting sorted out to my benefit. Next stop full time work.
