The Chatty One
Hello Everyone:
I was so ready to ask the caregiver agency to re-assign the one of mum's carers today. What so annoyed me about her was the fact that just seemed to fully interject herself into everything, including talking to the doctor. She has no right to do that. I understand that she may have her concerns but I'm starting to think she's overstepping her job. Another thing that continues to annoy me about the carers is when they're in the kitchen. Both mum and I have everything in a certain order but it's like no matter what I tell or show them, they just forget and do whatever they want. The one I was tempted to have re-assigned also feels the need to tell me everything mum does. I really don't need to know about every little minute detail, unless it concerns her health and safety. I certainly don't need her help in the kitchen, like mum suggested. Speaking of mum, once again she started to confuse matters again. She does this all the time. Mum'll ask me to do things or say something then go off on some tangent that just muddle the matter and make no sense what-so-ever. Today it was about making stuffed bell peppers. Normally, no problem, I just make it. No, today it was some wild tangent about what I planned to stuff the peppers with. To make matters worse, she decided that I need the chatty carer's help in the kitchen. Compounding the matter, the cleaner messed up my schedule. Needless to say I was on edge most of the day. I'm grateful that mum has someone to look after her but I wish the chatty carer would just stay quiet and stick to her duties, not help me out or wander around in the kitchen without direct supervision. All I can is right now, I'm happy she's off for a couple of days because if she was full time, I'd have to self isolate from the self isolation.
