Keep Calm
Hello Everyone:
This morning I was able to enjoy a very nice run through the area. The combination of almost no one in the streets and good weather made the run extra nice. I did brave the supermarket and got everything thing I needed. The key was going at the right time, early in the afternoon. As I’ve said, the whole social distancing thing has disrupted my day but I have really nothing to complain about. All the disruptions have really been minor. The Brit BF and I chatted for a little bit today. The insanity has been more or less the same on his side of the pond but he’s got a positive outlook. That’s him. I thing eventually when this is over and life returns to some version of normal, I’d like to do something celebratory. Something to mark the occasion. I don’t know, maybe another piercing or something else. Truthfully, my personal life hasn’t been affected all that much. I still get every morning, make breakfast, run, and go about my day. One good thing about the social distancing is that I haven’t encountered any idiots. Everyone I’ve come in contact with seems to share the we’re-this-together sentiment. That’s good because extraordinary situations like this one can bring out the absolute worst in humanity. I hope this all be over soon but for now, it’s just “Keep Calm and Carry On.”
