Sunday Post Oscar

Hello Everyone:

I just got done watching the most enjoyable Oscar ceremony in a long time. There were a few surprise moments but the best parts were Queen opening the show and no host. Who knew that a host was a drag on the ceremony?  I mostly like to watch The Oscars to see who’s wearing what. That’s he most entertaining part. Overall, life’s been pretty good. The new laptop is a definite keeper, now if I could only get WiFi in my house without a hotspot. Naw, maybe it’s better that we don’t have WiFi at home because I’d turn into a hermit. The Sometimes BF hasn’t reached out to me since his visit a week and half ago. That’s a good thng because I prefer to keep him at a distance. Yesterday evening, while I was doing the dishes, I had this dreadful thought.  My thought was he shows up, unannounced, with an overnight bag. I used to welcome it but now I don’t want it. I’d rather not have him for an overnight visit anymore. On another subject, mum had to pay a quick trip emergency trip to the doctor today. Sis took her, stayed, and brought her home. I turned out to be a minor thing but as usual, mum acted like sis was being such a great person. I was just impressed that sis didn’t give her the usual litany of excuses: errands, chores, family activities, inconvenient.  It just makes me mad that I do all this stuff and get pushed aside by some one who helps out when it’s convenient to her. I get snapped at for everything little thing and she gets praise for next to nothing. You see why I get so angry all the time. Anyway, I’m tired and tomorrow is another day
