Back To Business

Hello Everyone:

It looks like I'm finally back in blogging business.  I finally got a working laptop after being without one for who knows how long.  The good news is that it's lighter and smaller than my previous one but it's not a Mac.  I'll manage for the life span of the device until I can get back to Mac. In the meantime, I have to adjust to a different operating system.  This is where being patience comes in handy.  That and working distraction free.  I have to credit the BIL for helping tracking down a real bargain on the device.  He's a really resourceful person.  The one thing that irritated me was mum's suggestion that I check with him before purchasing the device to make sure it was the right one.  Like I can't read and understand tech specs as much as the next person.  He's not a tech guy and certainly cannot tell me what I need.  Also, I don't need he's approval for anything and I'm not mum, who's over dependent on him.  Overall, I think I'm really going to like using the new laptop.  At least I can do more work on it than before and it won't feel like I'm walking around with a lead weight.  I still have to fiddle around with it and customize it but I'll do it, all in good time.  I can't wait to get back to the blog tomorrow afternoon.  Back to adding pictures.  So happy.  So happy to be back to business.
