Nice Day

Hello Everyone: 

A generally nice enough day, not that I spent much time enjoying the weather. I did have a nice run and that was pretty much it. Two of the hens came over for a short visit this afternoon. Not quite as irritating as usual because their arrival coincided with the end of lunch so I didn't have to eat in the kitchen. I did, however, have to get a few grocery items for mum. No big deal because I had to go to the grocery store anyway. Mum, on the other hand was being even more annoying because she seemed to have trouble following the conversation thread. I so hate having to explain something as basic as a cookie to her. It's just so frustrating for me not to be understood.  I mostly limit my interactions with her to light weight subjects like the weather or basic household stuff. Anyway, I need to eat.
