Good Crazy

Hello Everyone:

Tomorrow it’s finally back to the grind but with a new twist.  On Thursday, while I was waiting for mum at the doctor’s office, I checked out the website my new LinkedIn connection suggested. The home page had a 13-question diagnostic to find out which job was a good fit. I didn’t need to 13-Questions to find out that I was suited for data collection and analysis. I checked out another site and skimmed over the training and requirements. Daunting but doable. Also on Thursday, we had radiator issues. That started on Wednesday when a service technician showed up to fix the radiator in the living room. Apparently it was leaking, as was the one in the apparent below us.  He managed to cap it off but took the cap so we had now heat in the living room until the next day. It bothered mum more than me. I rarely turn on the radiator because it gets so stufffy.  Between the law enforcement links and mum’s whine about the lack of heat, it was a very little crazy making but a semi-good kind.  Sometimes you need that kind of insanity to shake things up. Anyway, the rest of the weekend was a lot less crazy. I had a nice video chat with the Brit BF today and he made me laugh. He suggested that every furloughed federal government employee use the work computer to go online and send porn videos to the White House. That cracked me up. It’s not a bad idea and it would kill some time. That’s  probably what the president warches when no one’s around. Mum is definitely in a much better state. She’s doing more, which is a very good thing. I do try to encourage her to be more active but she really doesn’t like most physical activity. Not suggesting anything strenuous just something more than walking from her room to the kitchen. Okay I need to sleep.
