Lazy Day

Hello Everyone:

Happy Labor to those of you celebrating today. I decided to have a lazy day. The only pressing thing I had to do was go to the store and pick up a few things. I have to go back and buy flour, sugar, and eggs the essential ingredients in cake. Mum wants me to bake something for the holiday. I have an applesauce cake in mind. It’s probably a good thing I decided to have a lazy because I had this headache all day that’s made little tired. I really wish the wind would stop shifting directions every other day because it’s really affecting my sinuses, giving me the headaches. So far mum has been pretty well behaved.  Mostly, I’ve been leaving her alone so she can do her thing in the kitchen. If she needs me, I’m here. I’m happy to help as long as it’s not “I’m too lazy to do it myself” stuff like open the refrigerator. I’m hoping the rest of the week is pretty chill like today. The Sometime BF has been maintaining radio silence the past few days. His mother passed away so he and his brothers have to deal with the funeral. I sent him a card and I’ll text him tomorrow to check in. It’s going to be a tough round of Jewish holidays for him this year. I thought it would be nice for him to come over for a meal. Hopefully I can pull it off. In the meantime, he has the support of his synagogue and his brothers. Knowing him, he’ll probably be in therapy forever. Right now, I need dinner.
