Hello Everyone:
Day one of Major Jewish Holidays is done. Thank goodness. Actually it wasn’t too bad. The good part was getting some blogging done. That provided a nice bit of relief from the usual boredom. Mum’s friend turned out to be alright. She stayed for most of the meal, excusing herself before dessert. Mum seemed a little miffed about it. I was glad for the break. Sis and the minion came over a little later. To be polite, I chatted with them for a few minutes before excusing myself to write. Sometimes you just need alone time. As a parting gift, I gave them a thick slice of the applesauce cake I made. I figured they can be the guinea pigs. Actually I tasted it and it’s really good. Tomorrow I go to sis’s house for a late lunch. I’ll make sure to eat something before I go so I don’t over do it. I did that this afternoon and I was fine. I was even virtuous for dessert, a bowl of grapes. I just finished the dishes and have some down time before bed. I’m hoping tomorrow will be equally productive.
