Happy Change

Hello Everyone:

It’s Sunday evening and time to just chill. Thursday and Friday were pretty productive with all the usual stuff. The best part is that the intense part of the holiday preparations is over. There are still a few more rounds to go but I don’t think they’ll be quite as manic. The niece, her baby, and boy-husband are due to arrive sometime tomorrow. She sent a family picture and the baby, a girl, looks adorable.  Love those chubby cheeks. I’m definitely looking forward to playing with the baby. She’s six months old and little more responsive. With all the family around I think I’ll need the stronger booze. Fortunately the BIL has a very well stocked liquor cabinet. More immediate, I had a lovely run in the park today. The best of it was not being bothered by anyone. Even the children using the exercise equipment, with parental supervision, wasn’t an issue. I decided to go to the park after being bothered by some elderly man, riding around on bike, narrating my every action. In fairness, he also decscribed everything else he saw and I think he’s senile. Regardless, the whole thing was getting way too much for me and decided to make a change. Needless to say I was happy. The next step is to get myself out of bed earlier and go to the park before breakfast.  I’m even happy about my manicure and pedicure. Nice way to finish out the weekend.
