Hello Everyone:
A much better Tuesday, mum-wise. She’s off the daily terrorist attack reports and on to something else that I wasn’t paying attention to. I prefer to catch up on the news headlines. Much more interesting to read about the president’s latest antics or the new royal baby. This is how low I’ve set the conversation bar. Speaking of conversation, PLB’s resident man about the towers, the colonel, was really bending my ear today. Poor guy. From what I gathered, he lives alone, only has his law practice, and The Residents Association. So he anytime he can talk to someone, he’ll take advantage of it. He can talk without taking a breathe. Again, not really paying attention. Too busy trying to write the latest and greatest while listening to a great interview with James Comey. I’m not planning to buy his book or any book about this administration any time soon. I have enough to read without that drivel. Today’s post was interesting because it had to do with historic preservation—specifically adaptive re-use on a massive scale. It was nice to look at a rehab project that didn’t involve demolition. So all good.
