Hello Everyone:
A nice breezy start to my week. One minute it very pleasant and comfortable; the next minute it’s hot and dry; the next it’s cold and windy. It’s great, like not at all, for my allergies. The Brit BF and I were chatting today about the Starbucks incident in Philadelphia. I’ll be honest, incidents like this scare me because I always imagine him in place of the African American person getting arrested. I guess that’s a good thing because I makes me more sensitive. It bothers me that he could be in the same situation. Someone who doesn’t know what a sweet gentle person and mistake him for a robber or worse. We were able to have an honest conversation about it. I had to shamefully admit to my privilege. I’m glad he doesn’t hate me for it. I’d rather admit it to him than be one of those idiots on television who carry on about how they can use the toilet without purchasing anything. Anyway, my non-Starbucks app is going to be getting a workout.
