In the spirit of Valentine Day, the Brit BF and I engaged in some shameless flirting with each other. We started this morning when he sent a message thanking me for sharing an article he just posted on Buzzfeed. I like to support my friends. I kind of had this odd scenario worked out in my head that the Sometime BF would get in touch with to complain that he was upset that I shared his article. I assured that the Brit BF and I are just friends and nothing more. It sounds silly but the Sometime BF can be such a neurotic mess. This flirting went back and forth all day; covering The Olympics, classic movies, Woody Allen, and networking. At one point he teased me with his strong biceps. It was all in good fun. He finally signed off. I finally was able to start the application for a city job I'm interested in. I need to spend some time with it, not dash off answers to the supplemental questions and I need to upload my resume. I also need to get back to the grocery assistance application. Mum was kind enough to provide me with some information. Fortunately, there's a long weekend coming up and I can spend some time doing both. Changing the subject, remember when I said yesterday that I wasn't expecting any flowers or visit from the Sometime BF? Mum called me a little while ago to say that I got a delivery of flowers from him. It has to be him because the Brit BF and I are friends (sort of) and I'm definitely not expecting anything from him. I guess the Sometime BF is not an a-hole. I even texted him to say that. I haven't seen the arrangement but I'm sure it's nice. Anyway, more Winter Olympics fun and games tonight. Hopefully I'll get to see some hockey this evening. Yesterday, it was cross country skiing and snowboarding. I saw one Japanese rider horrifically wipe out. It was the kind of wipe that required the medics. I still want to take up the sport. It looks like a lot of fun. Anyway, dinner time.
