Hello Everyone:
It's Sunday evening and time to chill out. I had a nice chat with the Brit BF, mostly about what tech geek I am. He's such a great guy. Lunch with the family was okay. Originally, the BIL and minion were supposed to come over. Then I heard the teenage nephew was going to be joining us. Apparently, he got a last minute invitation from a friend. Based on the look the BIL gave me, the teenage nephew sprang it on everyone-"Dad, I'm going to a friend's house for the weekend see you Sunday." Needless to say his mom probably wasn't too thrilled. After all the clean up was done, I settled on with the latest version of MacBeth. This version was absolutely great. Michael Fassbender really shined as the last Celtic King of Scotland. This should've been the Oscar nomination role. This MacBeth is one of those overlooked, underrated gems that should've gotten more love. The art direction was outstanding and had been recognized at the Oscars, it would've given both Mad Max: Fury Road and The Revenent a good run for their money. Yeah, it was that good. It certainly put Mel Gibson's Highland escapade to shame. I think MacBeth should be required watching and reading for anyone contemplating a career in politics. Anyway, off to bed soon. Until tomorrow
