Hello Everyone:
A sort of productive day for me. After a slightly lazy morning, I spent the afternoon working on post about gentrification in East Los Angeles. The neighbors are fighting back but accepting the inevitable change. It was good post. Tomorrow it's the Candidate Forum and once again, there's plenty to say. I spoke with mom today and she spent most of the time complaining about the weather. It's in the nineties in Jerusalem. Israel is mostly desert and Jerusalem is inland so it's hot and dry. Mom already has a list of things she wants from the grocery store before she gets back next Thursday. That's too soon. I'm finally used to no one being here and today, I get a reminder she's coming back. The only person I want back is the Brit BF. I kind of wish mom wasn't in such a hurry to get back because I really like not having anyone around, unless it's the BF. I found myself wishing for an assistant to do some housework for me. It's not like I can't do my own cooking and laundry, it's just that sometimes I like having someone else do the housework for me. I already told the BF that if we ever get married, cleaning help is non-negotiatable. I'll have to train him in the kitchen. He has some basic skills so that's a start. Anyway, more tomorrow.
