A Pretty Good Day

Hello Everyone:

Alright, no more whining about the interview. I've exhausted that subject, for now. The blogosphere was good today, except for a few minutes when the trusty laptop was being disobedient. It happens. Inspire of the momentary technical issues, I did manage to post an article on preservation as a tool for  good or bad, depending on how you use it. As a tool for good, historic preservation can help save community assets from disappearing, provide a source of revenue, and make a community an attractive place to live. It can be a tool for bad when preservation is used to save individual assets and wealth; segregate a community. It was an interesting piece with implications all over the nation. I still want to check out the top nominee candidates's positions on urban issues. I think I may have to do a multi-part series, although the Republican field is narrowing down. Anyway, the day itself was pretty good. The Brit BF and I were back to exchanging flirty messages. Always a highlight of the day. It keeps me from going too nutty when the laptop misbehaves. I was even losing patience with the music but nonetheless, I prevailed over technology.
