Too Good To Waste

Hello Everyone:

I road tested the new keyboard case today. Success for the most part. I still need to figure out a few little tricks but good first day with the keyboard case. It certainly made going mobile much easier. Speaking of getting better, my cold is slowly going away.  I was able to go on a long run this morning without gasping, wheezing, and very few walk breaks. I was slower than usual because of my lingering cold. Now I get to chill this evening. A good job opportunity landed in my inbox. It is with the City Planning Department in the Office of Historic Resources. This office just deals with historic preservation in Los Angeles. I nothing to lose by submitting an application. The upside is I have nothing to lose, I could get the job, the pay and benefits. The downside, I could get the job. I like spending my time writing and having my own schedule. I also like a paycheck. If a paycheck is all I'm after, then I can work anywhere. The city planning job offers a sense of stability that blogging doesn't have but I really like writing and the flexible schedule.  Yes, I have nothing to lose by submitting an application. Besides there's no guarantee that I'll get called for an interview or anything else.  It's all speculation anyway.  Honestly, I don't know why I'm having second thoughts about this opportunity. It's perfectly good opportunity, not to be wasted. I think I just like the freedom I have-no punching a time clock or answering to someone. Anyway, I have a few more days to think about it.
