Hello Everyone:
A quick one today. I had another energetic day in the blogosphere. I edited one post and published another on why it's an exciting time to be in historic preservation. Spoiler: it has nothing to do with hugging buildings, although, I have yet to see someone actually do that. Anyway, the evening is both chill and chilly. Even with the radiator on, it's drafty in my apartment. This comes with living an older building. Maybe the Brit BF is on to something with his more contemporary design preferences-better insulated buildings. Well, it's a little less than two days before the holiday and I managed to avoid the malls. The grocery store was pretty mellow today. Fortunately, I caught it at a good time. However, I found myself getting a little testy at one of the markets I frequent because the self-checkout wasn't functioning well. The customer service person didn't seem to have a clue about what to do and I was starting to get impatient. I was very anxious to get out of there and move on with my day. Thankfully, I managed to do precisely that. So, overall, a good day. The Brit BF filled me with visions of people trapped in a mall for six hours, listening to an endless loop of Christmas music. That would be enough to make the sanest person go mad. Anyway time to get some sleep.
