Hello Everyone:
The family drama, like my cold, seems to have died down. Thank goodness. Thank goodness until the next family drama which should take place in a couple weeks when the in-laws arrive. Both mom and I plan on avoiding their imperial majesties as much as possible. Anyway, I'm not too worried. The day was a pretty typical Thursday for me. Chores in the morning and errands the afternoon. I went to the local museum book shop to look for a Christmas present for the Brit BF. I spent some time looking around but nothing leapt out at me. I'd like to get something related to animation and I saw this Roy Lichtenstein book but it was too expensive. I love him but I also have a budget. I think I'll make the trip over to the nearest comic book store and see if I can find an unframed still. The other option is an American version of this book he sent me on all the British cultural eccentricities. I don't have a lot of time. Shopping for a man always has me stumped. I want to get something useful and meaningful. We're both not terribly sentimental people so anything frilly won't do. Another thought, a recurring one, is to buy something honoring his Nigerian heritage. I could try something online but I have to find a place that ships internationally without charging a small fortune. I found a clothing retail that ships direct internationally and pays the shipping fee and duties. I really don't want to send him clothing, again. This is maddening.
