Still Sick

Hello Everyone:

I'm still under the weather, coughing, sniffling, and have a sore thoart. Mom says I sound a little better but any sustained conversation doesn't work for me right now. I also still have this intense need to crawl into bed and sleep but that stupid inner stiff upper lip isn't letting me do that. I really need to do something about that. I've been coughing so much that the muscles in my stomach are sore, like all the other muscles. A few more days and I should be okay. One bright spot in my day is that the jeweler called to say my ring was ready for pick up. Yay. I can't wait to wear it. I even bought a new bottle of nail polish for the occasion. The Brit BF continues to keep me in a good mood with his flirty messages. He's not letting me wallow in my sickness. One thing I'm really annoyed with is an order I placed with Amazon. They promised it would be delivered by Sunday evening; today is Tuesday and it's not here. I emailed them, asking for an immediate replacement. Let's see if they accommodate me.  There's been a rash of mail theft in the building but I'm not ready to accuse anyone. What's the point? Besides, what value could anyone find in an iPad cover and a book. I have value in both and that's enough. I want those items tout en suite. Hopefully, I'll be a little bit better in the morning. In the meantime, I need to sleep.
