I got another surprise call from the Brit BF today. Always a very pleasant surprise. The main topic of conversation was round trip airfare from Los Angeles to London. It's really expensive right now. Peak travel season. I have a feeling that if we book an autumn or winter trip, it'll be less expensive. Anyway, a good day for me on the blogosphere. I put a post that did not require too much heavy thought. I think after last week's heavy thinking on that flag, I needed something a little on the light weight side. When I came home, I found my DD ticket in the mail. My inner sixteen year-old jumped for joy. The seat is in the nosebleed decks but I don't care. I'm going and that's the important part. Now to figure out how to get there and back. Who knows, maybe the band'll give me a ride (LOL). Anyway, my evening looks to be pretty quiet. I just have to clean up a little and take out the rubbish. Tomorrow, it's back to the blogosphere. I decided I'm going to start cruising the Society of Architectural Historians website again to look for job opportunities. There was a tempting opening today but the application deadline passed. I hate that. I should also get back to checking the historic preservation websites. Truth is I really love to sit and write. Maybe I should look at architecture and design magazines? Alright, time to get up from my chair and do something.
