Hello Everyone:
I just came from a pleasant enough dinner out with the family. The occasion was niece's graduation/ teenage nephew's birthday/Father's Day. We went to this rather nice place so everyone had to be on good behavior. As usual, mom was on pins and needles before we went out, rushing me to get ready. She even went as far as to interrupt my weekly Skype call with the Brit BF three times, insisting I get ready. Needless to say, I was ready way before they got here. Dinner itself was nice. The food was good but the service was slow. I think it was because it a busy evening. I got the usual weird looks when I placed my order-a salad. The salad was good and not too much on the plate. I even had room for a very tasty carrot cake with coconut sorbet on the side. I don't care about the looks or the comments, I was satisfied. No guilt or anything like that. Right now, I'm chilling out with Underwoods. It's nice way to end an evening. Tomorrow it's back to the same old, same old. It's good. I'm looking forward to getting back into the blogosphere and checking out some good work opportunities. Mom and the minion have their things to do. Hopefully they won't involve your truly.
