It is a really beautiful day. Perfect early spring weather. I already had my annual Passover tantrum over mom moving some things of mine without telling me. So annoying when she does that and leave a mess after she's done cleaning something in the kitchen, the freezer in this case. Even more annoying, waiting for things to download on the computer. I have no patience to wait for that. The upside of that is I updated the software on my phone and, somehow, ended up with the iWatch app. I don't even plan to buy an iWatch. Whatever. In the meantime, my laptop is being taken up by all this updating and backing up activity, making me a little testy. Finally, all this activity is over and I can relax a little. In other news, I applied for a digital content producer job at the USC School of Engineering. Basically, it's a writing for the school's online magazine. Something I can do. Besides, I look at it this way, If I get the job, I can inch my way over to a writing gig in urban history. I'm actually hoping the Getty comes through with an interview. I think that would serve my interests well because I can parlay a part-time editorial assistant job into a full-time writing dream job where I can travel and write about architecture and preservation. I just have to be patient, not an easy task.
