Mom Texting, Oh No

Hello Everyone:

OMG it is a sign of the Apocalypse, mom got a new phone and now she wants to learn to text. Fantastic, that's all I need is mom serial text me every time I leave the house, especially when I go out for the evening.  It's bad enough when she calls and leaves multiple voice mails, expecting me to stop and answer each and every call.  Thank goodness I turned off the ringer on my phone.  I'm not planning on teaching her how to text.  Not now, not ever, never.  In other news, I feeling less cranky about 'Girls.'  I've come to the conclusion that Lena Dunham is presenting the Miliennial generation as they are: self-absorbed and over indulged.  I like the moments in the show when someone tells the main characters to stop whining and grow up.  One character I truly despise is "Shoshanna."  She is such an infant.  I almost expect her to prance around in a pink footed onesie, then be tucked into her her crib with a bottle and a teddy bear.  The art director on the show highlighted her infancy with a too cute for the eyes apartment.  Think Anthropology on a really bad day.  Another character I despise is "Marnie."  She's a younger version of Martha Stewart.  The other characters on the show are less irritating in varying degrees.  More binge watching this evening.
