Tired Today

Hello Everyone:

I'm so tired today.  I did go to my niece's school play and kind of had a good time.  The seats were good, mezzanine level with a full view of the stage.  The niece was in charge of the sets and props. As part of her job, she borrowed mom and dad's suitcases for a scene.  This became a running joke with my sister, I kept pointing to various props and asking her if they belong to her.  I got home and went to bed late.  All day, my attention span has been going in and out.  Right now, I'm fading fast.  Fortunately, I have the very hefty March issue of Vogue at home and NCIS is on tonight.  This reminds me, I have to check in with Fox On Demand for last night's episode of Sleepy Hollow.  I think I might do an "old lady" thing when I get home: put on my pajamas (with a sweat shirt over it), wipe off my make, and take out my contacts.  Even my head hurts.  I think if I tried to send off a resume, I'd probably send it to the wrong place or send something full of typos.

Good news on the mom's phantom stomach ailment front.  She's finally taking the Imodium and feeling better.  Hurray.  At least I don't have to listen to her complain about her stomach anymore. Sis told me she wouldn't take my mom to the school play Sunday show if she didn't take the medicine. Of course, she'll find something new to complain about.  Guess what?  The teenage nephew is getting his learner's permit.  My idiot teenage nephew is going to learn how to drive.  Sis explained that with my niece going off to college next year, they're losing a driver.  This way, my teenage nephew can help out with carpool and errand running duties.  He's even saving up for a "gently" used car.  The thought of that child driving is a little hard to wrap my head around.  It's not because I can't accept the fact he's growing up, it's just that he can be very reckless and irresponsible.  Maybe driving will teach him to be more cautious and responsible?  One can only hope.
