Finally, some resolution with the home alone situation. Mom is going to sleep over at chez sister and come home during the day, to do whatever she needs to do before picking up the minion from school. Sounds like a sensible solution to me. Of course that won't stop her from complaining and agonizing over the whole thing but at least, I can have some quiet time to myself. Now only if the Brit BF was here. Speaking of which, we're suppose to Skype in a while. I'm looking forward to talking with him, as always. So far the weekend has been pretty good. Mom was carrying on Friday night about the whole home alone situation. She's mainly upset, rightly so, with the parent for even considering such an idiotic idea. What changed is my idiotic teenage nephew has a school event on Friday and needs someone to stay with the minion. The little turd. My equally idiotic niece will take him to school. Orginally, her plan was to drop him off two blocks before the school and let him walk the rest of the way so she won't be late for school. There are usually children walking with their sibs and parents. I swear these people have oatmeal for brains. Whatever. The matter's been resolved, for now. I have no part in it. I chill out and do whatever I want. Yeah!
