Confidence Boost

Hello Everyone: I was so exhausted at work yesterday. I have no one to blame but myself hecause I stayed up a wee too late the night before. Somehow, I managed to get through the shift without anything crashing on me. Today was even better because I finally got some good notice from a manager. The manager told that she was very impressed how much I've improved since we last chatted. I have noticed that I've gotten better at my job. I feel a little more secure about it but that doesn't mean I want to stay there. It does mean I have a chance at staying there and when I do leave, it'll be on my own terms. You have no idea how hard I've been to get to this point. I really do appreciate people not giving up on me. That's made a big difference. It means that someone helieves I can do my job even when I feel like a phony. It was a real confidence boost. That made my day.
